Suzhou Dushu Lake Sci-Edu Innovation District in SIP hosted an event on Jan 21, setting a bridge for cooperation between hospitals, research teams and enterprises.
At the event, the representatives from the Fourth Hospital Affiliated to Soochow University, the Suzhou Kowloon Hospital of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the Suzhou Cancer Hospital Affiliated to the Medical School of Nanjing University gave the participants introductions to the hospitals’ medical services, research and demand for equipment and technological solutions.
The representative from the Suzhou Research Institute for Integrated Medical and Engineering Innovation jointly established by the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology and Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine shared with the participants the institute’s experience in industry-academy cooperation and clinical technology transformation. The one from the Suzhou Institute for Advanced Research of the University of Science and Technology of China gave the participants a detailed account of the institute’s research capability and projects, and expressed expectations for teaming up with enterprises in research and talent cultivation.
In the discussion session, the enterprises’ representatives specified their needs for partners for development and commercialization of new therapies and technologies, receiving positive response from hospitals and research organizations.
The representatives from local medical insurance, health and sci-tech innovation promotion authorities answered the participants’ inquiries about relevant policies.
