Suzhou International Science Park (SISPARK) in SIP recently released impressive data that have charted new coordinates for the development of AI industry in SIP.
SISPARK saw eye-catching breakthroughs in innovative business cultivation last year. It nurtured 33 unicorn (and potential unicorn) companies recognized provincially and even nationally, hitting a new high. MEGAROBO and Zelos earned spots on the 2025 Hurun China Artificial Intelligence Enterprises Top 50 list, standing as the only two honorees from Jiangsu province.
Concerning performance in capital market, by December 2025, 21 companies from SISPARK had gone public, with their total market capitalization soaring to nearly RMB900 billion. Firms in SISPARK completed 28 financing rounds last year, raising approximately RMB3 billion yuan in total.
More industry leaders joined SISPARK’s ecosystem. IBM’s first innovation center in China commenced operations, and a number of firms with self-developed cutting-edge technologies settled down in the park.
An “innovation rainforest” is taking shape. To better support businesses’ growth, SISPARK expanded its physical footprint by 570,000 square meters through new and renovated spaces. A large model innovation community has launched services, and a community of AI-powered one-person companies is being built.
SISPARK also enhanced efforts last year to facilitate supply-demand matching through diverse events, which have promoted application of AI solutions in manufacturing, medical care, education and other fields.
