The Zhaojiaxiang Neighborhood Center in SIP was full of festival atmosphere on Jan 24 when an event was held there to usher in the Spring Festival which, reckoned on the first day of the first month on the Chinese lunar calendar, will fall on Feb 17 this year.
Calligraphers wrote Spring Festival couplets for the participating residents to use as decorations for their homes during the festival and professional photographers took pictures for families.
The blind box drawing further heightened the atmosphere. Continuous cheers came as mysterious gifts were revealed.
A house fair was going on at the same time, gathering about 20 housing projects from a number of well-known real estate developers, along with special discounts and coupons. Moreover, consultancy on preferential policies on house purchasing and related financial services was provided on site.
